Position Overview:
Design, installation and repair on all makes/aspects of marine electrical and electronic systems
Perform testing and sea trials as required
Research information required to successfully complete work orders
Develop material lists for project completion
Work is completed under minimal supervision of a team leader or manager
Communicate directly with clients to clarify requirements and review critical details as needed
Travel to marinas and private slips within service range (approx 30 minutes)
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Complete service reports accurately and submit them in a timely manner
Contribute to business growth and improvement initiatives
Assist other teams as needed. Cross training available if desired.
Position Requirements:
Proficient in marine electrical systems operation, design, installation and repair
Proficient in reading, interpreting and creating wiring diagrams and schematics
Knowledge of safety hazards, proper PPE and safe working practices
Excellent team player
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good computer skills
High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
Certification(s) from ABYC, NMEA or OEM's preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
